THE REGISTRATION PERIOD WAS EXTENDED UNTIL JANUARY 20.

CAJASOL Funds Travel

The Organizing Committee of the XVI Conference of Public Economics to be held in Granada on 5 and 6 February 2009, under the heading "Financial Crisis and Public Sector" convenes 4 Funds travel CAJASOL for the participation of young researchers.

The amount of individual grants will be 300 € gross, in order to help defray the costs of registration, travel to Granada, lodging and meals during the days of the Conference.

Beneficiary is required to be entered in the meeting and present, at least, a communication accepted by the scientific committee, being younger than 30 years and a PhD student or a research institute. In addition, Beneficiary must not have an employment relationship and/or contract with private or public institutions.

Interested should send CV summary (two pages maximum), the title of communication accepted and copies of registration and identity card at info@economiapublica.es, before 12 31 2008, with the words "Fund travel" as a matter of the message.

A court composed of the President of CAJASOL, or person he delegates, and the Co-Chairmen of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, or persons to whom to delegate, will allocate the funds in Depending on the curricula and the communications proposed by the candidates.

CAJASOL Award for Best Paper

The Organizing Committee of the XVI Meeting of Public Economy to be held in Granada on 5 and 6 February 2009, under the heading "Financial Crisis and Public Sector" convenes CAJASOL Award for Best Paper presented at the Conference.

The amount of the prize will be 500 € gross.

Potential beneficiaries will be all those participating in the Conference with a communication. The prize will be awarded by a court composed of the President of CAJASOL, or person he delegates, and the Co Chairmen of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, or persons to whom to delegate.
